The Ajenno Repairs, Re-Stringing and Alterations Service is available for necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Whether it is a necklace that needs a new wire or a simple but much needed spruce up. We can help!

Services available:

Repairs

We can repair necklaces, bracelets and earrings that have unfortunately been broken due to whatever reason. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a silver soldering service at this time.

Re-stringing

We can re-string necklaces and bracelets including precious pieces made from gemstones and pearls. We use a strong sturdy but flexible wire called Beadalon which is available in a variety of colours to suit all pieces. We also stock a range of leather, synthetic suede and cotton cords for pendants.

Alterations

We can lengthen, shorten and adjust necklaces and bracelets to your requirements. We can also replace earrings with alternative ear wires such as clip-ons, hypo allergenic or stud posts instead of wire hooks.

How it works:

1. Send us an initial email using the contact form, detailing your requirements and your contact information.

2. We will then get in touch with you to discuss your requirements and the options available to you. We may at this point ask for photographs of the piece in question to be sent to us via email as we may need to see the work required in more detail.

3. We will then quote a price for completing the work.

4. If you are happy with the quote we will ask you to send us the piece in question and also ask for a 50% deposit (payable by cheque, or bank transfer) with the remainder payable on completion. We always advise that all pieces are sent to us via Recorded or Special Delivery.

5. Once the work has been completed we will email you photos and contact you via telephone to ensure you are happy with what has been done.

6. Once we are both happy and the work has been completed we will ask for the final 50% payment.

7. When final payment has been received we will send the piece back to you via Recorded or Special Delivery.

What does it cost?

Our rates are very reasonable and start at £5.00 per item, the final cost will depend on what work needs to be done. We would need to see photographs of the item in question before agreeing to under take any work to ensure that we can complete the job to a good standard that you will be happy with.
